چکیده

We investigated the sintering temperature dependency on properties of Na2Zn2TeO6 (NZTO) solid electrolyte synthesized via a conventional solid-state reaction method. Sintering calcined NZTO powder, which was obtained by calcination precursor at 850℃, changed in range from 650 to 850℃. X-ray diffraction analysis showed that P2-type layered phase formed all sintered samples without forming any secondary phases. The relative densities were approximately 83%−85% for 700℃ or higher. sodium-ion conductivity above 10−4 S cm−1 room and highest 4.0 × sample 750℃. obtain is 100℃ lower than used previous works. Such low compared other Na-based oxide electrolytes could be useful co-sintering with electrode active materials fabrication all-solid-state battery.

Improvement of ionic conductivity of gadolinium doped ceria electrolyte with nano CuO sintering aid

Gadanium doped cerium oxide ceramic (GDC) is widely used as solid electrolytes in solid oxide fuel cells because of its high oxygen ion conductivity. In this study, the effect of addition of nano CuO as a sintering aid on the properties of GDC electrolyte were investigated. For this purpose, 0.2, 0.5, and 1% mole of nano Cuo was added to GDC ceramics, which was synthesized by the solid-state me...

Magnetorheological technology for fabricating tunable solid electrolyte with enhanced conductivity and mechanical property

Ionogels are a new class of hybrid materials where ionic liquids are immobilized by macromolecular support. The excessive amount of crosslinking polymer enhances the mechanical strength but compromises the conductivity. Here, we report an elastomeric magnetorheological (MR) ionogel with an enhanced conductivity and mechanical strength as well. Following the application of magnetic nanoparticles...

Microwave Sintering of High Thermal Conductivity Aln

In this study, a combustion synthesized AlN powder was sintered using microwave as heating source. The microwave was 2.45 GHz and the sintering process was carried out in a single-mode cavity. The sintering temperature was between 1800°C and 2000°C with a power ranging from 400 to 700W. The as-synthesized AlN was ground to under 2μm and yttria was used as sintering aid. The effects of the amoun...

Synthesis , Ionic Conductivity , and Thermal Properties of Proton Conducting Polymer Electrolyte for High Temperature

Hyperbranched polymer (poly-1a) with sulfonic acid groups at the end of chains was successfully synthesized. Interpenetration reaction of poly-1a with a hyperbranched polymer with acryloyl groups at the end of chains (poly-1b) as a cross-linker afforded a tough electrolyte membrane. The poly-1a and the resulting electrolyte membrane showed the ionic conductivities of 7x10 and 8x10 S/cm, respect...

Low Temperature Sintering Additives for Silicon Nitride

This work deals with sintering additives for the low temperature pressureless sintering of Si3N4, via a transient liquid technique. Much attention has been given to the development of a sintering process using low-cost Si3N4 powder (Silzot HQ, Germany) as the starting material and employing sintering additives which are also both economically attractive and enable sintering at low temperatures....
